1. Required Materials
Students are required to bring the following each week:
-Instrument and rockstop
-Binder with technical exercises and music
-Pencil
-Cello Lesson Journal

2. Practicing
Regular practice at home is essential for musical progress. Students are expected to
practice at least 7 days per week:
-Beginners: 30 minutes
-Intermediate: 45 minutes
-Advanced: 60 minutes or more
Consistent daily practice is more effective than cramming. Please help your child build a
regular practice routine.

3. Payments
Payment is fixed and it is due on the 1st day of each month and covers the total number of lessons for
that month. Students with an outstanding balance starting the second week of the
month will have lessons suspended until the balance is paid.

Payment Method: We will be using the Fons app for payments. Classes will not start
until the payment method is captured in Fons.
Payments will automatically renew on the 1st of each month unless the teacher is
notified in writing (email) of withdrawal at least one month in advance.
 

4. Cancellations / Teacher Absences
There are no make-up lessons provided. A missed lesson is a lost lesson. 
If the teacher cancels a lesson, it may either be skipped for that week or rescheduled at
the teacher’s discretion (at the teacher’s private home studio Blanco
Cello Studio located near Downtown Lewisville). If a lesson is skipped by the teacher,
the payment for that lesson will be reimbursed to the family the following month or the
same month.

Please note: the teacher is an active performing musician, which may
occasionally affect scheduling.

If stopping lessons subscription is discontinued by the parents notifying the teacher in
writing (email) one month in advance; otherwise, the subscription will remain active and
payment will renew on the 1st of the following month.
